Spring has come to the Kapiti Coast with the arrival of bluebells and blossoms in the garden and the first balmy evenings where we can fling open all the doors and listen to the chorus of the birds. It's a privilege to live amidst such beauty - I feel very lucky - and it helps keep me sane as I dive into writing the final chapters of a new novel The Nature of Ash, due out next year.
